Pirate Dreams is the culmination of an idea
launched in 2003 by two average music store guys who wanted to
"hang out at beach bars in Western New York all summer and get paid to do it."
Starting out as an acoustic trio playing Jimmy Buffet
cover songs and other beachy music that had the effect of making girls in string bikinis
jiggle, the band grew and evolved into a tropical fixation.
Tired of only playing cover material, Pirate
Dreams began composing their own material in late 2005-2006.
