Apparently doing everything the right way from the
get-go, Kelly McGuire has accomplished much in his Trop-Rock
career. Already an award-winning singer and songwriter, Kelly's
songs have been played on more than 2,000 radio stations across
the country, including Jimmy Buffett's own Radio Margaritaville.
Several of Kelly's songs have won awards from The Austin
Songwriters Group, Fort Bend Songwriters Assoc. and The Nashville
Network (TNN).
He's a born singer. In fact, listening to
Kelly McGuire sing is like spreading warm butter- smooth,
easy, and makes everything better. His clear vocals are like
ringing crystal and just listening to him, one can tell that he
really feels what he sings.
In addition to music, this talented young man is
also an avid painter, working with oils and watercolors. He
is an active supporter of the Galveston Bay Foundation, helping
preserve coastal estuaries and wetlands. A portion of his
proceeds from his CD Redfish Island goes to this honorable
organization.
