An eight-piece band from Maryland, Captain Quint has become quite popular for it’s interactive stage show, mixing lights, sound, and high-tech props. Their visually and audibly engaging concerts include lots of crowd participation, special effects and fun.
No stranger to the road, Captain Quint opened for Jimmy Buffett’s Far Side of the World
Tour before continuing their own headline tour through much of the East and Southeast. They’ve even tagged along on several Booze Cruises.
Their debut release, Pineapple Jam in 2003 was followed up closely by
Pineapple Jam v2 in ’04. Pineapple Jam v2 is a reworking
of the original Pineapple Jam tracks, remastered and sounding
better than ever. Their most recent CD, The Swinging Sailor of Perryman infuses a touch of world music, borrowing sounds from the Caribbean, Africa and New Orleans.
